Okay, so i have decided on the bike. 2010 Demo 8I. But what size, i am 5ft 6 sometimes 5ft 7. On the specalized website the only difference between the small and medium is about 20mm. the wheel base, the top tube length. everything else on the geometry are pretty much the same. Anyone got any advise???? |

I'm 5'11" sometimes 6 foot and for a pure DH race machine like the deemo 8 I would ride a medium. If I was Monty I'd probobly go for the small. MY 2 cents. |

yeah if you are getting a DH/Freeride bike I would go small. That way you can get and stay behind the saddle when you need to or whip the bike around for stunts and tricks. If you think you are going to be doing a lot of pedaling type trail riding then maybe a medium just to open up your chest for breathing or whatever. Come out here for a weekend and try a bunch or different brands and sizes to see what you think |

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. i think i will go with the small frame then. I rode the medium at winter park and it felt like a boat but i was able to do a 180 on it. So if i hit the small frame up, then there should be some good rippin times on it. Getting excited about the big bike. |
